Description

QuadScan 320 Degree Sonar — Complete System

The QuadScan 320 degree sonar system is the most advanced hands-free live sonar positioning system LiveScanner makes. Unlike any standard mount, it combines a fully customizable 320 degree scanning range with exclusive targeting modes — Lure Lock, Port/Starboard, and Section Sweeping — giving you precision directional control over your Garmin Livescope or Lowrance ActiveTarget. As a result, you spend less time searching and more time on fish.

Complete Kit Includes

Backlit Color-Changing Arrow

Clearly indicates current mode and direction at a glance.

Foot-Operated Variable Speed Pedals

Hands-free directional control without setting down your rod.

10-Button Wireless Remote

Secondary control from anywhere in the boat.

Streamlined Integrated Electronics

No separate control box — clean install on any boat.

Complete Installation Kit

All hardware and wiring included — nothing additional to purchase.

Trolling Motor Swing Mount

Select your motor platform and shaft length at checkout.

Exclusive QuadScan 320 Degree Sonar Technology

Four exclusive targeting modes set this system apart from any standard hands-free mount. Together, they give you surgical precision over where your live sonar is looking at all times — precision that tournament anglers and serious structure fishermen rely on every trip.

320 Degree Scanning Range

A fully customizable sweep range that you define. Scan as wide or as narrow as your fishing situation demands.

Lure Lock Mode

Lock your transducer onto a specific target zone — a brushpile, a channel edge, a suspended fish. The QuadScan holds that zone at your chosen speed while you fish it.

Port & Starboard Mode

Dedicated left and right scanning positions for quickly covering both sides of a boat lane, dock row, or creek channel.

Section Sweeping

Focus on specific target zones instead of continuous side-to-side scanning. This efficient approach gets you on the fish faster and maximizes your time on the water.

Upgrade Option: Add LiveScanner Sync Technology

Take your QuadScan to the next level with automatic motor synchronization. Consequently, the Sync sensor module upgrades your unit from manual hands-free control to fully automatic motor-matched scanning:

Automatically syncs with your trolling motor heading
Transducer instantly adjusts to match motor direction
Always scanning in the direction you are moving
No manual adjustments needed while trolling

Kraken Note: Sync is not currently available for Garmin Kraken trolling motors..

Trolling Motor Compatibility

The QuadScan is compatible with all major bow-mount trolling motor platforms. Select your motor and shaft length (52″, 60″, or 72″) during checkout. Additionally, stand-alone universal mounts are available for non-trolling-motor installations:

Minn Kota Ultrex
Minn Kota Ultrex Quest
Garmin Force
Garmin Kraken (+$250)
Lowrance Ghost
Power-Pole ZR

Why Choose the QuadScan?

Whether you are competing in tournaments or enjoying weekend fishing trips, this system gives you precision scanning technology that adapts to your needs. Instead of continuous wide scanning, you can target specific zones and get on the fish faster. Furthermore, the upgrade path to TrackCast means your QuadScan 320 degree sonar investment continues to grow with your fishing.

Warranty: Every QuadScan ships with our comprehensive 1-year warranty on electronics, defects, and workmanship (wireless remote excluded). Installation guides are available in our online video library on YouTube. Additionally, you can pair your QuadScan with our stabilizer dog bone brace mount for maximum shaft stability and transducer performance.

Frequently Asked Questions — LiveScanner QuadScan

Does the QuadScan work with Garmin Livescope?

Yes — the QuadScan is fully compatible with Garmin Livescope, including the LVS32 and LVS34 transducers. You can use the stock Garmin transducer mount, however we find the LiveScanner transducer mount adapter performs better. As a result, the QuadScan rotates your Livescope transducer automatically, giving you hands-free directional control over your live sonar cone.

Does the QuadScan work with Lowrance ActiveTarget?

Yes — the QuadScan is fully compatible with both Lowrance ActiveTarget and ActiveTarget 2. Similarly, you can use the stock transducer mount, though we find the LiveScanner transducer mount adapter performs better. Once mounted, the QuadScan rotates your ActiveTarget automatically in any of its scanning modes.

What is Lure Lock mode and how does it work?

Lure Lock is an exclusive QuadScan feature that lets you scan an adjustable range with your transducer pointed at a specific target zone rather than continuously sweeping. You define the scanning area using the remote, and consequently the QuadScan holds to scanning that range at your chosen speed. This is particularly valuable when watching your lure drop into a brushpile, tracking a suspended fish, or monitoring a tight zone during a tournament. In fact, it is the most requested feature from crappie anglers who fish heavy structure.

What is the difference between QuadScan and QuadScan with Sync?

The base QuadScan gives you full manual hands-free control — you direct the transducer using foot pedals or the wireless remote. In contrast, adding the Sync sensor module upgrades this to automatic motor-matched scanning — the transducer rotates in real time to match your trolling motor heading without any manual input. Therefore, Sync is ideal for anglers who are constantly searching and trolling and do not want to think about transducer direction at all.

Which trolling motors is the QuadScan compatible with?

The QuadScan is compatible with Minn Kota Ultrex, Minn Kota Ultrex Quest, Garmin Force, Garmin Kraken, Lowrance Ghost, and Power-Pole ZR. Additionally, stand-alone universal mounts are available for installations not on a trolling motor. Each mount is precision-engineered for that specific platform — select your motor and shaft length (52″, 60″, or 72″) during checkout.

Will the QuadScan interfere with my trolling motor Spot-Lock or anchor features?

No — the QuadScan mounts to your trolling motor and operates completely independently of the motor electronics. Consequently, Spot-Lock, i-Pilot, Heading Sensor, and all other motor functions continue to operate normally. The QuadScan only controls the rotation of your transducer pole — it has no interaction whatsoever with your motor control system.

How difficult is the QuadScan to install?

Most anglers complete installation in 1 to 2 hours with basic hand tools. Furthermore, every QuadScan ships as a complete kit with all required hardware and wiring. A full installation video is available on our YouTube channel that walks through the process step by step. If you run into any issues, call us at (636) 586-5856 and we will walk you through it personally.

Can I upgrade from QuadScan to TrackCast later?

Yes — all QuadScan systems are upgradeable to TrackCast, though the upgrade may require the unit to be returned to our facility for factory retrofitting. Specifically, TrackCast technology cannot be installed by the end user. Contact us for current upgrade pricing and turnaround time.

What does the 1-year warranty cover?

The LiveScanner 1-year warranty covers electronics, defects, and workmanship. However, the warranty is voided by cutting any fuse or any part of the wiring harness. View the full warranty terms on our warranty page.

Is the QuadScan worth it over the LiveScanner Pro?

If you fish structure — brushpiles, docks, channel edges, laydowns — the QuadScan Lure Lock and zone scanning modes are genuinely game-changing compared to the Pro fixed sweep. For crappie anglers specifically, the ability to hold your Livescope or ActiveTarget on a single brushpile while your lure drops through it is worth the price difference alone. However, the LiveScanner Pro is the right choice if you want reliable hands-free scanning at a lower price point and do not need the advanced targeting modes.
